Seems a hot topic here on C55. I used to carry a pellet gun that looked JUST like a Beretta at a distance, for the viewing pleasure of any LA d_ckheads that went into roadrage mode on me.

Then I grew up...

Yep...don't need anything here anymore. Loaded, chambered, anywhere, anytime. Good old AZ! I keep my permit valid anyway, since that means no wait to buy a new piece.

I could be wrong, but I would assume with a revolver, it would have to be un****ed.

It's a good thing you grew up cause that would be legal justification for someone to fear for their lives and return fire. Nothing like bringing a pellet gun to a gun fight.

Carry? You Bet!

Yep, I carry...not every day, but many. It's amazing how many states have reciprocal agreements. I think there are only a few that do not recognize and allow CC if you have a Tennessee permit. I love it!

I was asking because I was curious on the subject. If someone were to try to hijack your Camaro, wouldn't you want to defend yourself and your property, if you felt your life was in danger? Or you had the ability to save someone else's life?

How many criminals would bring a knife to a gun fight?

This is why we carry. Gotta be able to defend yourself.

Without a concealed carry permit, the firearm is supposed to be unloaded and in plain sight.

same thing I carry I love that thing its my car gun

Both the wife and I carry every day all the time wherever it is legally permissable to do so. In Texas that is almost everywhere with some exceptions like a courthouse or bar. We have car safes cabled in our Camaro's where we can lock up the guns if we are going somewhere we cannot carry.

Here is a brief write up on the NE laws and license process. http://www.handgunlaw.us/states/nebraska.pdf

Remember an unloaded gun is usually useless. Almost every gun fight starts with less then 2 seconds notice and is over 6 seconds later with 3 or less shots fired. If you are going to cary a gun, you need to keep it loaded.

Welcome to the world of being a sheep dog!

How many criminals would bring a knife to a gun fight?

Thus one reason why I'd like to get my CCW. I've thought about it before, but am a little skiddish around guns. Probably would be a good thing for me to take it just to become more comfortable around them, even if I don't carry.

My mom is taking the class next month, and I'm debating on joining her. She even offered to pay for the class if I want to do it.
