Well called a Big Chevy dealer today. Taking the Camaro in Monday morning at 9. Suppose to be in the seventies. They got the roads all swept & we had 2 good days of rain to wash the salt off. So I put the car back together enough so I can get it there.

We had a picture perfect day too!

Stayed home today, planted a couple of rose bushes, the deck boxes & various pots around the yard. Mike washed & waxed the truck. Then grilled out some Kabobs.

My sister's dog made it through the night. They took him to the vet for more shots then he got worse after they got home - back to the vet & he did not make it. In the middle of all that, My brother-in-law (other sister's husband - they live across the street) thought he was having a heart attach & they had to call 911 - ambulance trip to the hospital. We have not heard much but a sketchy text from my sister (phone probably died) said he did not have a heart attack but had a leak (?). Maybe a heart valve leaking. He is in his 70's & a Vietnam vet. He has cheated death a couple times already so hoping he can do it again.

I hate it that both my sisters had such a rough day. Hoping for better days for them both.

Here are a few pics from my day.

You almost made me hungry Jan But I just got done eating some of the 5 gals. of medium hot chili I made today out of venison & pork sausage.
Sorry to hear about the dog. And your sisters husband. Just seems like bad luck is running along side you lately. But with all are prayers on this thread. Most every thing seems to be helping some for all of us.

Good morning crew. Ruby woke me up this morning bumping on her door. She thought I had slept enough & wanted her breakfast. Silly rabbit has us well trained. It is a chilly morning but supposed to be an overcast but warm day. Perfect for planting some bulbs & lots of car washing & waxing. Have a great Sunday.

Hello JLSuperfly. Welcome aboard. Great grew here to hang out with.

Really tired this morning. For some reason Mike put on a pretty good movie last night but it ran past my bedtime. That added to all the work outside this weekend & I REALLY did not want to get up this morning. Another rainy Monday but looks like it will hold off until I get to work. Have a good Monday!

Start of a good week:
A week ago thought old fat cat Ramses finished. Rear legs went weak and he was walking in circles. Understand last Nov. spent more than $5000 on every test and vets could not determine the issue. Somehow, in the last week he went from almost crippled to walking like normal for a an old fart fat cat. Perhaps my nightly personal messages to our higher being helped.

Easy to say us old fart professors are over paid and do not earn our salary. Extremely happy today that one of my students earned, awarded a very prestigious 1st place award on her research applied design project. 120 research based projects approved for judging out of about 900 submissions, the student I advised for two semesters won 1st place. I am thrilled for the student as this award is going to open doors for her. She did the work, I only advised and gave guidance during the last two semesters.
Improving workplace environments within hospitals to improve the physical and
mental health of healthcare professionals.

Other news this week, Monday finished my last class and now two weeks at home marking design studio projects. Key: I am home. When I said goodbye to my design studio students today almost brought tears to my eyes. Some group of students almost toxic, this group of students were a joy to work with and I told them so.

This week, Wed., finally taking delivery of the 1966 Bird conv. that has been in a restoration garage. A little scared to drive it for the first time. Next Monday, the Camaro goes in for it annual detailing. My detailing pro in such demand I had to make my appointment last early Feb. for a late April appointment and he is selective on cars he will detail. Paying bucks for the annual detailing, but the Camaro will look factory fresh when it is finished.

Welcome Superfly.

abaucom, I can imagine how anxious you are about your T-bird.

The evening temps are extremely pleasant, so I am sitting on the deck watching the air traffic coming and going.
