camguynj,

I have not replaced the starter, alternator or battery. I have replaced two wheel hub/bearing assemblies. Also the slave cylinder plastic bushing melted. I replaced it
With an aluminum one and put in a new clutch while I had it apart. Also had a couple axle shafts break. And drive shaft bolts break. Replaced blown front door and rear deck speakers with Kickers. Did a muffler delete because I had a loose baffle in the right muffler. That's about it. Not bad for 200,000 miles.

I only have 19k miles on mine but I would not call it a garage queen. My drive to work is only 5 miles each way. I work from home twice a week. Then when we go out as a family or take long trips, we take my wife's SUV because of the room, car seats, etc.
I do drive my Camaro as much as I can rain or shine all year.

My early '10 SS just turned 54,000 miles today. Nowhere near 200,000, but to date
I've only had the right rear tail lamp bulb blow out. They are well engineered cars.

Water pump and axle seals still good? Any leaks anywhere? Repaint? That front end looks better than mine!

I've go 20k on mine. This has to be my most favorite post of all time!

Congrats!

What's on your To Do list?

I did have to replace the pinion seal due to a small leak. And had to replace a heater hose. Dosen't leak anything now.

Front bumper cover, front fenders, right quarter panel and right door all were replaced due to four seperate incidents. Two of which happened while it was parked in my driveway.

Wow, original battery. That’s really something! Yea that plastic slave bearing is a real POS. About how many miles when you changed lt? The billit one will get you to 1mm miles and beyond.

I’m much like you, I just hit 19000 on my 2010. My job is two miles away so not worth starting her up. I have driven to Canada for the Camaro event at the plant, also to Indianapolis and Kentucky for Camaro fest.

ABS2SS where do you drive your car that you have 200,000?

Congrats by the way awesome achievement and great looking car

That’s a good question! I’ve got a low miles 2010 also. But that was a douche comment about garage queens. Most people drive as much as possible but garage queen or daily driver, people have interests outside of cars believe it or not. LOL. If you ask me, he should save his pity for a real worthy cause and not concern himself with how others spend their money.

Most of my mileage is racked-up on my 59 mile commute to and from work. Also my wife's favorite place in the world is on Lake Huron, near Alpena, which is eight hours from our house. Also my son's live in Fort Wayne which is two and a half hours away. Although my wife's youngest son is in Indy (only an hour away), her other two sons live in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. Let's just say we rack-up some miles. My wife's 2004 Liberty has 320,000 miles.
