Tornado in Calhoun County Alabama

A friend just sent me a text,
Major tornado with hail just hit Alabama,
3 dealerships just got hit badly, including Mitch smith Chevy
Major hail and water damage to over 700 new cars.

Mitch Smiths website shows 12 - 2018 camaro’s including a ZL1-1LE
Hope it was inside.

Very sad,
Prayers for all involved

just. wow. I'm not to incredibly far from there, and was expecting that storm to hit me as well, but luckily it did not.

Ugh. I had done a semi restoration on a classic BMW, 6 months after a 5 coat repaint it looked like the cars in the pics. Freak storm with Softball size hail. My coworkers were lined up going "oh ****, you just finished it". I drove it to the body shop that had done the repaint and the appraiser said the entire shop stopped work and circled it and sort of" "grieved" as everyone remembered it, as most had a hand in some of the work.

That was a bad day.
