The CTS Vsport I believe has the LF3 which is essentially a de-tuned LF4 (rated at 420 hp), and although quick, doesn't have nearly the giddyup of the CTS-V or ATS-V.
I know that but the comment was the V-sport could show the RS a lesson.

Have to watch where the hyphen is......before or after the V 😃

The car is boring as anything though which is why I’m getting rid of it and getting a 2019 ZL1 whenever they are available to order
Bout time you get back in a ZL1 Phil... 19 for me as well.

Interesting they didn't note the obvious change in the gauge design. I don't recall any current Camaro having that light colored ring around the gauge like shown in the photo.

Here's some more speculation from the photo:
1. This is a RS or lower trim level...Shifter is not V8, unless the red on top of V8 shifters goes away for refresh...but that looks identical to today's V6 and I4 MT shifters, but I could be wrong.
2. Gauge cluster change at this trim level....looks like still analog tach and speedo..but opens up question of whether 2SS will go 100% LCD like 2018 Mustang's 401a package gauges that ditched analog completely..

The 4 cylinder had that same gauge cluster in the photo.

What light colored ring? Ist that just the back light being seen from the side angle?

Yeah the Z06 was a nice car, but I never fell in love with it the same as the ZL1 I had, and it just wasn’t the right car for me at this time.

I should have gone straight from that to the ZL1, but ended up in the S5. Nothing overly wrong with that car, and it’s really nice inside etc, but it’s just boring and I’m always thinking I should have gone back to ZL1.

So 2019 it is and I can’t wait!

How come you’re changing yours - just time for new?

Why wait for the 2019? Won't be much different than the 2018. By the time the 2019 comes out, the 2020 will be right around the corner and maybe a completely new model instead of just a refresh.

Looks like they won't show Blazer in NYC. So probably Camaro?

Yeah, I don't think after having the LT4 or LSA I could go back. Even the LS7 was a bit under powered for my liking. Guess we both get to do this again like with the 5th Gens.

A fresh new color is enough for me to wait all by itself. New rear end, maybe some carbon ceramic brakes, mylink system upgrades. ...and more time to re-calibrate for some of the bog issues. And yes there will be a new model maybe in 2020 or at some point so a 2019 will be a better trade up.

^^^This... no reason not to wait and find out for sure what's up. NY is only days away.

Do we know this for fact ? , Can you post a link. You say that the 19 will not be much different from the 18 with such authority. there are several of us who are shopping for cars right now and I would hate to buy a 18 and a nice refresh happens in 19. Do you know what you’re talking about or are you guessing with my money?
