Save your money. I started saving my money when I was 18, got a good job at 22, and now I’m 24 with a house, a SS I daily, a ZL1 And I’ve got a 2018 GT on the way. SAVE YOUR MONEY

The only scenario I could see money not being an issue is if you owned the car outright (no payments). Don’t fool yourself, if you can save a lot now, you can be a millionaire when you retire (or sooner). There are fun autocriss and track day events in S florida. I have been at them, and they are VERY fun in a stock car. Modding a car is a money losing proposition, trust me I did it with many cars, learned the hard way.

Keep the 1LE, if you trade you will be underwater. You have one of the best performance bargains on the planet. The ZL1 is a step up, but you already have a very cool performance car.
Pay the 1LE off and sell it privately. Then get a ZL1 if you still want it. Right now the ZL1 is a BAD move for you. It is NOT worth the financial sacrifice.

If you can pull off a ZL1......... DO IT! If not roll with the 1LE and minor mods.
