Went on with no problem. The front rock guards have a strip of tape and come with two clips for each one that also helps secure it to the fender. One at the top and one near the bottom. The clips came kind of a gray/flat black color, so I spray painted with a good semi gloss black first. The tape is white and I used a black Sharpie marker to black out the outer visible edge of the tape before installing.

Cleaned the fender lip where the tape attaches using 10% IPA to water mix. Warmed up the rock guard a bit with a heat gun to make it more flexible. Removed the lower plastic pin in the fender well. Pulled about two inches of the lower part of the tape strip cover, installed the plastic pin through the rock guard and lined up the upper tip of the rock guard flush with the fender making sure the tape was lined up with the lip and not too close to the outer edge of the fender. Pulled out the rest of the tape cover strip, pushed and held for a minute to secure the tape then installed the clips. They are on there good and solid.

Nice write up, I especially liked the part about heating up for flexibility...

These would look 100xs better if they were made color coded to match the exact color of the car. These match the rubber tire color at don't flow with the car.

LOL! Man this is an old thread. Chevy makes color matched molded rock/splash guards for the Camaro. However, those aren't very big, so they offer less protection than the ZL1 Addons rock guards do. Many of us have ACS rock guards. They are molded like the ones from Chevy, but not color matched, but they are larger and offer better protection. And you can get them in satin black to match the 1LEs satin black parts.
