Harris Hill PDR Footage

Took The Red Dragon out to Harris Hill for the SCCA's Track Nights in America event. This is the PDR footage from the 3rd and final session for the novice group.

Is that track surface as rough as it looks on camera?

Yup. Used to be even worse before the repaved a few spots. Gives the track "character."

So I see... That miata got luck early on hanging that tire off like that coming out of a corner.. That could have been worse (but, thankfully, looks like most off road excursions here are just grass plowing). Kudos to that driver for that recovery.

The 2nd session from the track day. Had a good "battle" going with the Focus RS, but had to cut the session short because I ran out of gas. :( Apparently, 6.2 liter supercharged V8s don't get great gas mileage at the track.

Wow those bumps and dips certainly add some variables to the lap.

I almost went to HHR for that event. If I had known there was gonna be another Z there I would of definitely made it out. I was shocked that I was the only one out at Circuit of the Americas last month! That track definitely spoiled me. Not a single pebble out of place.

GAS! That definitely caught me off guard too! I used about 1/4 tank per 20 minutes at COTA!

H2R is pretty rough. The best thing about the track is if you go off, you're probably not going to hit anything.

CotA is definitely an amazing track and I hope to get out there sometime this year.
