Why are so many used 2018 ZL1 1LE's Traded In?
I've been in the market for a ZL1 1LE but have learned not to purchase the first production run of a new model.
I also now see a bunch of Used, low mileage 2018 ZL1 1LE's being traded-in and returned to the Dealerships. Why do you thing new owners are returned these ZL1 1LE's when the car is not even broken in? Last edited by GM2GO; 07-19-2018 at 12:54 PM. Reason: typo |

I think it's too much car for those that sell them so quickly...unless there's a dire personal emergency.

You guys don't think it's because of the ZL1 1LE's short comings, (i.e. Advertised Top Speed never achieved or came close, M6 Bog Issues that still remain unresolved)???
I'm not bashing, just stating the facts. |

lol yup i want a zl1 1le then buys it uh its got too much power or the ride is too stiff or the seats are too tight or i just wanted a showcar i dont want to track it lol i can see it right now

The 1LE is a stellar track car, where you can endure 1.2 to 1.3 g's. If you're concerned with top speed, go with a HC or Demon.
The bog issue is not everpresent, and I think they are close to a fix. |

There is allot of this trolling going on in this forum. I have gathered it's mostly people that can't afford the car and are non-stop talking about price. They are stuck driving their mustang GT and hate on people who have better cars. I have learned from several interactions with these people that it's best to not respond.

Same thing happened with 14 / 15 Z28's...some liked the looks but did not like the ride, or in the case of the Z28's, the V6 rental car lack of options. At least the ZL1 1LE comes mostly optioned up.

Stock tires SUCK on the street. Most cars leave dealership with near 40psi in tires.. which SUCK.. its punishing ride.
Add more street friendly tire and its great car. Looks and performance to back it up. 3R = great track tires, but abysmal on street. Most people want a track car until they drive one on the streets with crappy pavement, cracks, potholes, expansion joints, etc.
