New Camaro Mods?

I bought the new 2015 2Ls Camaro and wondering what parts/mods I should look into buying first. I was looking to buy an Exhaust first (MRT v2) and an intake (K&N). Any suggestions?

I've had a K&N for years... good, solid, added power you can feel. Nice product. But I am now considering the Vararam. Check it out;

I'm hearing and reading great things about it.

Also, springs and sway bars & endlinks for suspension... at least.

Don't know much about the exhaust mods for a V6 other than one of our club members loves his MRT V1 and it does sound good. For an intake the most popular here and the ones that have been proven to give the most hp increase would be Cold Air Inductions Inc. and Roto-Fab. I have the Cold Air Inductions CAI and they look great and are an easy install.

CAI Inc is claiming +15rwhp, Vararam is claiming +20rwhp on the low end without the need for a tune, +35rwhp on the high end with a tune.

Here's a quick comparision between the two:

Here's a more in-depth thread about it:

In the end, whatever you feel is right!

Why do you say that? I've always wondered about the merits of a catch can.

Because of what I've seen all the V6 guys catching in theirs.

Definitely look into the catch can.
There is a thread on here by Apex Chase that explains this mod very well.

Absolutely. OP, do this for your engine... then start doing things for you.

Oh yes... and congrats and welcome to C5!

I will second that. The same club member that has the MRT exhaust gets a lot of oil in his catch can. He also put in n a clean side separator. You don't want that crap in your intake.
