Painted the cans!
Several weeks back I posed the question about what should I do regarding my ugly factory mufflers on my '13 LT1/RS. I seriously considered upgrading to a whole new exhaust upgrade like some nice Magna-Flow's, Borla, etc.... So, instead of spending too much money on something I didn't really need, I ended up buying 2 cans of flat black VHT header paint and sprayed the ugly silver cans black. Looks so much better! I'll take that money almost spent on new exhaust and buy some bedroom furniture instead!

Does look better. I bet BBQ grill paint would have worked also... I touch the underside of all my cars when I see a little surface rust

Nice. Did mine last year. Used the rubberized undercoating.
