I would love to do a project car just like this. Find an old SS body and put all new gm parts under the hood.

under the hood it's almost exactly what I would like to do except it looks auto and I would like a new style manual in there (hydraulic not spring is what I mean by newer). Other than that the only thing I don't like are the rims. Not the color I would choose but it's still nice

Not real big on those rims myself either...Or the intake tube laying on the radiator hose LOL... Aside from that, it's a beautiful looking car! Wonder what it will go for? Doesn't really look like a 100k restoration... There's still rust on the rear end, and the carpet looks faded... And why have a buy it now of 69.5? Let it go wild!
Also note that the only picture featuring "alice" is in a completely different location than the rest of the pictures?? Last edited by Jason@JacFab; 01-11-2013 at 02:44 PM. |

it's not a true RS either. the electric hideaways do take some of the old vacuum system bugs out. also, the interior is standard, not deluxe...
all in all, still a nice looking ride, though.

Dang....that's alot of money for that car.
My brother just picked up a real nice '67 for 29k. Now grant it that it's a '67 vs '69 and doesn't have an LS motor but it does have a nice 383 strocker with Tremec 5-speed, Vintage Air, QA1 coilovers w/tubular A-arms just to name a few things. Heck, I have my car insured for $50k and I feel like that's overkill. Mines a real SS convertible, 5-speed, Vintage Air, factory 12-bolt, Wilwood 4 wheel disc brakes, with deluxe interior. He'll probably get it though because of who he is. For that kind of money I would actually expect it to be a bit nicer. That's about a $30k - $35k car IMO.
