People keep hitting my treshold getting in and out of car

It really bothers me since it messes up the paint and the plastic.
Touching up the scratches makes it look worse.

I give everyone explicit instructions how to enter and exit my car. Don't care what they think. I explain that it's easier to keep it clean than to restore it.

I have to tell everyone to watch the doorjam on there way in. I also say it when getting out. The few that ride with me know too lift there feet. My brother hits my speaker in the door all the time.

Train everyone on how to get in and out of the car. Lift you feet, watch what your feet touch when you get in and out, and use the door handles to open and close the doors. keeps foot and fingerprints to a minimum, finger/handprints off the glass, and keeps me from getting in to their asses when they ride in my car.

Just the pain of having passengers. They will never care as much as you do. I should take a picture of my drivers side door handle and my passenger side handle, big difference.

I'm so dickish about it that most family and friends talk about it. All I want is for people to respect my car the way I do. Scuffing my doorjam is not helping.

Well, I never had an issue so far till I took it to the car wash last week.
One of their employees manage to scratch the driver side, quite a big one too.
I did not notice it until I got home that night.
I know it is an exotic car but I like to tread mine as one.
It is by far the nicest car I have ever owned and I would like to keep it that way.

Tipped the guy $5 upfront, grrrr.
I also valet park my park quite a bit, since I feel safer having them park it.
I don't have to worry about door dings.

I also tell people to lift their feet but to tell you the truth, sometimes even I hit the threshold especially when I'm in a rush!

So true. Use a couple fingers on the inside of the handle, and use the glass to shut the door. These kinds of requests make us seem obsessive.
