Fuel Additives: Worth It?
I recently purchased my Camaro with 20k miles. After reading several threads here and testimonies from other members I decided to invest in a catch can for my car. My question is, being that the car has run for so long without it, should I run an injector cleaner through my car for the next few tanks? Also recommendations on additives if you've used them please!

Berryman's B-12 Chem-Tool. I think it comes in a 16oz can. That was my "go-to" stuff back in the day. I'm sure there are others that are just as good, or better, out there. Not having catch can shouldn't affect the injectors too much. It's more a benefit of keeping the valves clean, and the interior of the intake tract. For that, you could use SeaFoam.

I put in a container of Lucas fuel injector cleaner after each oil change/fuel up (after the oil change). It can't hurt to add it. I also have a catch can and get a consistent amount of oil collected at every oil change.

sold a lot of it, never used it. also never had anyone tell me they could tell any difference except they were 15-20 bucks lighter..the only thing i would consider is the formula bg makes that breaks down condensation and allows it to burn with the fuel

I thought only v6's needed catch cans.

Think again. My catch can had an inch of oil in it and it was installed with 40% oil life remaining and checked at 16%. Definitely needed and glad I did it. I used the Elite Engineering catch can... This one definitely works...

How does it work and if it is a no brainer why doesn't GM just put it on the engines stock?

I see it talked about on here, but thought it was primarily for the v6's and I guess I missed the basics on the device. I will you tube it later today.

You really want all this running through your intake?
