They are different, the SS lights are clear on the top. A way to differentiate models, is Stingray has red tail lights, z06 has clear.

I was really hoping it would look more like this, but I think there's a possibility we could see these changes in one of the Z models.

Camaro never did have that before and I don't think they ever will or should.

Never was a fan of the 5th gen... but this one catches my eye. Not a fan of the huge lower grille, and don't understand why they didn't extend the rear fascia low enough to cover the gas tank/mufflers/other under parts (again).

I haven't really kept up with the reveal of the 6 gen like I did with the 5th, but over the last month or so I've read and looked around, and after seeing the pictures, I'm pretty impressed with the overall look. Honestly, I didn't think you could make the exterior much better than the 14/15 yr model as far as aggressiveness looks.
The most important piece to this reveal is the interior... and I think it's a homerun!! They really went after it with that, and from the pics.... it sets the bar up there in this segment. About the only thing we were short on compared to the Mustang and Challenger is the interior, and I now I'm completely sure that this car can sweep most all the categories when it comes down to a true comparison.... (excluding the Hellcat.... cause, well its badass) but overall.... great job by the engineers and the Camaro team! Gonna be hard not trade my 10 in for one.

I believe the chrome is part of the RS package as a nod to the early second generation RS, which had the split grill.

This car doesnt look bad at all??!?!? Not better than 2010-2013 but def much better than 2014-2015?!?!?! The technology is siiiiick!! I drive 2 fully equipped trucks & seeing heating/cooling seats, drivers seat memory, changing ambient lighting.....gives me chills. Love that flat bottom steering wheel too. Great job on interior. Great job designers, im disappointed it doesnt look like a musclecar anymore but its not ugly by any means, just looks conservative, but the interior and technology whew. Ill still hold out for a new stingray though, great job GM.

Looks like 2.0T model get all red taillights while V6/SS models have clear sections inside the red? Or is this an RS thing?

Really not sure. The 2.0T at the reveal event has red taillights. But the same car on other sites has red/white taillights.
I'm guessing it's an RS package thing...maybe that gray 2.0T is a weird mishmash of non-RS and RS parts.
