I had the check engine light come on for a misfire with only 21k on it... Ran injector cleaner in and told me it was from bad gas?... Told me to try throwing dry-gas in the tank.

Ok I'm clueless on "dry gas" and I've worked on cars for a while so someone clue me in. Is there another name this goes by or am I just uninformed? LOL.

Ran a tank of mid grade Pure gas with B12 Chemtool fuel treatment through it. Doing it one more time to be safe. Light has not returned. Fuel mileage has improved. Hoping we may have found the problem. Thanks guys!

Dry gas is basically just isopropyl alcohol. If there's any water or moisture in your gas the alcohol will help the water mix with the gas so you dont get "drops" of pure water being injected into the engine (which obviously won't burn well, lol). You can get it at any auto parts store.

It seems that was the problem! No CELs since I ran the fuel treated tanks of and I've put about 800 miles on the car.
