Yeah its a nice 70 degrees today in houston, great day to drive a ZL1,lol i feel for you..sucks spending all that money and can only really enjoy it for 3/4 of the yr.
Here is my dyno pull i explained the rest in my PM to you.. like i said it doesnt have as much under the curve as yours, but i wanted as much top end peak since i was not doing my heads,or touching my blower..I know if i choose to keep the car,I can get all the rest under the curve then by doing the heads, and blower along with getting much more top end peak
I discussed it with LPE,LME&fastlane, before i made my choice, lift has the most effect on HP after the 4 main events are chosen, and a cam with higher lift will open sooner,at the mid point, all things being equal, plus it helps with other factors.Thats why the GT9 became my choice with a auto..If i keep my car the GT9 cam as per LPE will produce the most power, the most avg,and be the best driver over all..I am sure there are other cams out that will make more, but LPE wont do one off's..but both set up's will be enough to run in the 10's
I love that big cam sound that yours has,I normally tend to go that way,as most of my motors were/are 427 to 454 lsx na motors in the past. either way we cant go wrong with LPE choice of cam's..love your car...

Thanks for posting dyno charts. It explains quite a bit. Probably only get to enjoy the car 1/2 the year. Usually get to drive it from May to October. There seems to be so many combos, cams pulleys headers heads. Hard to make the decisions, lol. I hope you get a chance to tear up a track with yours in the near future, the auto's are a force to be reckoned with at the track. Thanks for the compliments on the car, I love the idle, it turns heads wherever it goes!!

Stage 5+ complete and safe and sound back in my garage. Thanks to the guys at davenport motorsports in Calgary for another first class job on my car and taking care of it like it was theirs. It might be my imagination but I think it sounds meaner now lol. The roads were pretty s***y today but car arrived without a hitch in their heated car trailer. I haven't even driven it yet but found myself talking to them about next winters mods. Just need to get a time machine now and jump ahead 4 month

I have heard ADM mention they like the GT9 for M6 and GT11 for A6 cars...I am sure the hp would be close with either choice.

Davenport has their own ZL1 for R&D and told me they tried both cams in their auto car with no difference in power. I chose the AI cam for the great low and mid range torque it makes. I'm looking into a different cam for next winter and maybe a bigger blower lol. We'll see.
