Received warning about no front plates

Today was the worst morning ever.... I woke up to a flat tire and on my way to school after filling it with the temporary patch stuff, a police officer pulled me over and busts me over not having my front license plate on, I told him in my defense, the technician was not at the dealer when I had purchased the car, neglecting to include it was about a year and a half ago. He lets me off with a warning thank God but I was wondering, how long do I have to add the bracket and plate? I am going to college in a small town 4 hours away from home and am visiting this coming weekend, do y'all think I can get buy for the next 5 days without having trouble and just letting my dealer do it?

Most cops don't care if you don't have a front plate, so I'm surprised that you got busted for it.

NO! Don't let the dealer do it! If you do, they're going to drill holes in your bumper. If worse comes to worse, just zip tie it to the lower grill for the time being until you can get a non-drilled license plate holder.

I know your not gonna like this but you can always just zip tie your plate to your lower grill until you can get it on there for good. Usually its a 72 hour fix it if he gave you a ticket that is.

Plate placement on the front must be completed prior to delivery.

I only have an issue with equipment issues on cars if the driver is a d*&k or there is a more serious infraction I could cite you for...the fact that you are cool and have everything together? I would 86 the moving violation and write you for the plate...a non moving violation.

How long do you have? You didn't get a citation....so, take as long as you want...or until you do get a citation.

Thank you guys, I just might do the zip tie thing for now haha, what would the best non drill license plate holder out there considering that the Campari has the pointed bumper, or should I have it along to the side instead of the middle

Man front plates completely downgrade the appearance of the car. I'm so glad I don't have to have one.

I have not and will not put my front license plate on. I don't care what others may say by using zip ties or even double sided tape. I would recommend the JacFab system as it doesn't do any damage.

Tell me about it. I don't care where I live, if I order a car and they've drilled holes in it, I'm telling them to send the beater back. I won't take delivery.

But I like the zip tie idea for the OP until you get a proper no drill kit.

Just using the zip ties to hold it on - wont it damage the paint on the area below the lower grill? Seems like the show n go would be a better solution
