I agree there are a lot of D bags on this site, but I wouldn't say it's millennials. The stupid comments I get in person have all been from guys in there 30's and 40's. The younger guys are the first to compliment it.

I've noticed this as well in the short time I've been here, people seem to have no filter or social skills on this site and just say it like it is lol a little weird to get used to at first :-P Funny to read the "how old are you" thread seems like a good 2/3rds of this forum are people under 25 as well

Forums in general have that problem. It's because people can't get punched on line so everyone is about 75%-100% tougher. There's no consequences so they don't act like they do in real life.

Learn to ignore the idiots or you also have the luxury of blocking them...

I get asked if it is my cure to a midlife crisis and I usually ask them if I had tattoos and rode a Harley would they ask me the same question and they say no so that is when I walk away saying I don't have to drive a bread box mini van because my wife said..

I get " oh its only a v6. Why didnt you get the v8?" I say well 312hp is plenty to roast the tires and if you want to give me the 10g for the v8 upgrade ill go to the dealer right now. that usually shuts them up. other than that i really dont get anything negative most people love RJT with the silver strip kit and now that I blacked out the windows its just that much better.

"when I get one it's going to be a.. [insert model trim above yours]"

Some guy i know just said that to me the other day... "when I get one, its going to be a ZL1 or 2SS/1LE if i don't get financing"

It was in a really jerk way, as if to say... "i deserve a better car than you!"

These cars are something else.

Good one! I actually do ride, just not a Harley and no tats, so I know EXACTLY what you are talking about.

There are more RUBs (Rich Urban Biker) on Harleys than ever before and rarely does anyone give them grief.

I also have gotten mostly positive comments, but at times you will hear some crazy stuff. I was at a big car show Saturday where there was over 700 cars. I was just sitting behind my car when 2 teenage boys that were about 14 or 15 walk up and this was their conversation.

1st Boy - Wow, look at that Camaro I just love that color.
2nd Boy - Oh you mean that GM shit green color. GM had that color as an option on the Corvette for 5 or 6 years and they never sold a single Corvette in that color. They had a million gallons of paint in that color so to get rid of it they decided to put it on the Camaro. A few people finally ordered it but they still had just thousands of gallons of the paint left. Now you can get it on the Sonic and nobody is still buying it. I heard a few weeks ago that GM is finally just going to just dump the paint to get rid of it.
1st Boy - Really, Wow I did not know that.

I just sat there and did the face palm as they walked away, How can you even respond to something that stupid?

I heard they were going to bottle it and sell it as an energy drink

I would say thanks, so you think I will live to be 120 years old ....

Only back handed crap I have had to deal with is one from the S-10 Forum when I introduced myself in my first post. I posted a picture if my S-10 and my Camaro. The first response was from a guy that said , " Do you know how I know your a queer? Because you drive a convertible Camaro." I replied " You know how I know your a moron? I read your post, BTW nice way to greet a new member."
