It is great to see someone working on their truck like this,it looks very niceWhat do you have planned next, dual exhaust, mirrors?Did you have it polished and waxed as well, the paint looks clean.I know it was repainted, just didn't see anything about buffing or polishing.

Kool but I would have left or added some of the original bumper trim on there cause just seems like too much chrome on the bumper but I am glad to see you keep working on it and improving it.

Thanks. A new radio and speakers will be next. Hasn't been buffed but it needs to be.

I'm in the process of making a custom license plate bracket so I can put a plate on. I'm sure with a plate it will set it off nicely.

Looks a lot better without the blue bow tie!

Maybe put some more stylish side view mirrors on it next. I think the smaller black plastic ones would look just fine vs getting them painted body color because the black color will blend in with the black window tint. Maybe for the mean time you could hit them with a can of black plasti-dip.

As for building a custom plate mount cant you just pick up an OE one from LMC? and putting a nice black frame with clear cover on it would give it a clean look, or just be a rebel and leave it off like the majority of Camaro and Vette owners do.

Keep up the good work, its coming along nicely and the small details like painting the grill inserts black really help. Keep the clean look and don't wreck it with clear corners and auto part store accessories.

I personally prefer the chrome retro look.

Ill be making one in my machining class out of aluminium on a CNC 3-Axis machine. Its going to be 1/4 inch thick. Picture included.

Thanks! Didnt plan on having clear corners. Tired of taking the grille off. LOL. Yea the clean look is the best look. Also, whats ironic I actually work at a auto parts store and I dont buy'em, I sell'em. lol.

Also forgot to upload these...

The blower motor cover was the worst thing to do. To sum it up, Id rather be punched in the face than do it again.

I had these ordered, they came in grey and I had painted them with what I thought was the factory color but apparently there is a slight difference.
