Sour grapes maybe. Mine was ordered, so I think it arrived at the end of the day so there were a few things the dealer needed to do to it (prep)but I drove it away the next day. Man that was a great day!

I bought my 13’ Camaro ss/rs ,One of 3 leftover stock on april 4/12/14, it had 402 mi. on odometer. Reason being it was used as a test driver, and was driven from another dealership 50mi away. Car was built in sept 2012. Care sat for a long time 19 months. I got a great deal on it though, and couldn’t pass up on it. My friend bought her 2ss/rs in march 2013 and paid over 42k, I paid 36k, needless to say my friend wasn’t too happy she overpaid. The car warranty started at 402miles, and car was in immaculate condition. had many dealer installed options, which i didn’t pay for, sticker price with options was listed at $44,600. I’ve had it for 5 months now and it drives like a dream. PERMAGRIN!!!!

It happens, I am the second owner of mine but I noticed it was built in November '12 and has an in service date of 8-13-13. That is nine months but considering the dealer was in Wisconsin, November through April is not a great time to sell a Camaro. I wonder why it did not sell all summer of '13. It is a loaded 2LT/RS. Maybe it was too expensive and they did not cut the price until August '13. The original Sticker was 33,500. That's a lot for a V6. I ended up paying 26,400 for it with 4k miles on it from the original owner this past June. I figure 7100.00 or 21% off of a 1 year old car with 4k miles on it was a decent deal.

Could I have found a little better deal, probably but it was the color I wanted with the options I wanted.

My 14 LS had been sitting for a while too, it did have 411 miles though :( got it at 18.5k though which I think was great! They are still covered under the regular warranty so if anything happens they should cover it.

yeah I've seen a couple of those too, discounted 10 grand or more. I think they were priced a bit high to begin with but there's some deals to be had on them now. I love the color, not crazy about the rest of the package.

Mine sat for 200+ with 120 miles on it. My only problem was car was dirty from sitting. Brought it home polished and wax car, detailed engine bay and door jams, trunk area and car was better then new.

I drove 3 hrs to get car because it had the items I wanted on car. Time sitting did not bother me.

When I was looking around my area there was a dealership in Baltimore that still has a 2013 Dusk Edition. They wouldn't budge on price at all and they had it for well over a year. Also there were a few dealerships that still had 2013 SLP Edition cars as well. Guess they really like them.

My car had 95 miles on it and I was raising a fit. Come to find out, it had been originally delivered to a dealer 90 miles away and they drove it down to my dealer.
Try not to get yourself wrapped around the axle on this.....you'll make yourself crazy and take the fun out of purchasing a really great car. Before you know it you're going to have 10,000 miles on it and those 100+ miles won't mean a thing.

Maintenance wise. What is your thoughts on the car sitting so long?

Thanks
Don't worry about it. A lot of cars sit on dealer lots for quite some time and there isn't a darned thing wrong with them.

I purchased my 2008 Saturn AURA XR 3.6 brand new 13 months after it was built. I've owned it for 6 years and am completely satisfied with it.

Enjoy your ride!

My 2013 1LE had 8 miles on it when I bought it. It went from the the transport to PDI to me all in the same afternoon. It now has 11k miles. My 2014 1LE had 4 miles on it and it sat for 2days at the dealership and it has 2500 miles on it.

Thanks

Man as others have said, if you're happy and you don't feel any vibrations going 60+ everything is fine.

Tell that other dealer he's an asshole and you won't be dealing with him in the future, but hopefully his call made him feel better.

Enjoy your new car, post some pics. Would like to see her!
