I trade cars a lot because I like a lot of different cars. My current C7 is not my first one but that's irrelevant.

And I would bet you a hot fudge sundae when the new ZL1 comes out the dealers who are NOT going to mark it up will be few and far between.

Just look at every new launch of any halo/niche vehicle including from Chevy and INCLUDING the Gen V ZL1. Hellcats marked up? Oh yeah. GT500s? Yep.
2012 ZL1s? OMG yes. Gen V Z/28s? Sho' nuff... And so on and so on....

Oh, yeah, the stealerships will never change and they - most if not all - will INDEED mark up the first '17 ZL1s.
Interesting, I thought it was usually the other way around, that folks moved from Camaro's to Vettes. I have had them both in the past but none of them had the technology or power that today's cars do. Hopefully I will be getting a new ride later this year, and the two I am trying to decide between are the C7 and the new ZL1.

I know it is an "Apples to Oranges" comparison because both cars are different, so it all boils down to preference. I like some of the new options on the ZL1 that you can't get on the C7, like the 10 speed trans, and the blind spot alert system just to name a couple. I can imagine it won't be long before the C7 offers the 10 speed, but the availability is unknown at this time and the ZL1 will be soon. I am guessing the C7s will hold their value better than the ZL1, but time will tell. In the mean time I will continue to follow the ZL1 updates to find out what there is to know about it.

Highly doubt it. Becky is a great person to work with, and she knows the volume she can sell. The ZL1 will not be a specialty car for Rodgers to bleed every dollar from. It will sell like any other Camaro.

At least I'm hoping so as I await next summer to perhaps place a ZL1 order.

Jeez Louise! That may be the nicest photo I've seen of the Zl1 to date. Looks gorgeous.

OMG!! Best picture yet. And I was thinking of going something other than black too. Well, not any more. That thing is beautiful.

This.

And I hope they offer the option to smoke the taillights too. That would be a must for me if I go black.

Wow! That may be the most bad ass Camaro I've ever seen. Is that a new front splitter? Just amazing.

Damn my thoughts on getting the blue might... change. Least we still have a while to decide, unforunately.

The design is the shizz but I don't think the black does it justice. I'm more a fan of the blue and red. Still damn good looking though no matter what color!

I think that the splitter is specific to the ZL1. Totally different from the SS splitter.
