Parking lot idea?

I figured if youre really worried about your car being parked, you could buy some 5" cones, comes 5 in a pk for like 10$. They come green or blue and you could paint them orange and set em on each side. noone will park there with cones ya kniw? just an idea

When you return to your car, the cones will be gone. You might find them again on the field at a kids soccer game.
If anything the cones will attract the wrong attention to your car and people may go out of their way to intentionally hit your car or vandalize it.

I try to never take 2 spots. At one of my jobs if i get there early enough i will park next to one of the handicap spots since no one ever parks there but if i get there late i will just park in the lot where no one really parks at which is just an extra 20 seconds of walking.

When i go to the store i try to judge how long im going to be there, potential cart threat, and time of day. Based on those i sometimes park way out front, kinda close to the side, or way on the side on the other side of an island (island as in the kind that has mulch and a couple of trees lol).

You can do what some douche did at my store because his girlfriend worked there. He painted "Beautiful's Parking" in three spots, nobody wanted to park there.

sorry wizard, but I agree with the rest of the guys......if you were to get those cones, a few things would happen:
1. they would be too small to be seen and people would ignor them and run over them while they parked next to you.
2. They see the cones, get out of their car, put the cones ON TOP OF YOUR CAR, and park REALLY CLOSE to your car. Maybe so close, you would have to get in on the passanger side.

your idea would certainly bring you attention you REALLY don't want.

Sorry and please don't take offense but I can't stand when people take up two spots......kind of obnoxious IMHO

I'd stack the cones ON your car, OP, or at least laugh if I saw anyone doing it!

As for those taking up two spots, you are asking for trouble, IMO. Seriously asking for trouble!
