MY goal was to mount subs without using any brackets or drilling any holes. The only mods to the car that I've done was the wire splicing which I cna reverse easily and mounting the 6x9s and components which gm did for me

I would like to post a youtube video soon of this setup and see what peeps think..

My PM's might be confusing so I will ask the question here and maybe you or someone else can answer it. The whole part in our PM about spliting after the SVEN unit confused the heck out of me.

so to you and others - HELP - If I am hooking up subs (With an aftermarket amp) it is best to pull off the front speakers to get the high and low or I will have to splice and then join the high and low from the rear speakers before connecting to the amp???

Can anyone help????

Right now I am just connected to the High wires and it just doesn't sound right plus I don't think the Epicenter is working as planned because I am after the factory amp.

..make sure the Epicenter receives full range signal(job is to enhances sub sonic frequencies). It's different listening to 'pop' muisc with the 'extra/pronounced' bass..

The 8 pin plug to the amp has sub outs, tap into them and you will have all the bass you want.Look at the wiring diagram sticky and you will see

Pulling from the front left and right gives you full range which will feed your subwoofer amp just nicely

I'm still working on a youtube video myself as I want everyone to know what this system somewhat sounds like as words cannot even describe it.

I cant wait to see your setup man! Post lots of pics!

I have a question...is there a way to hook up an ipod? I'm not sure if there is an output jack in the back of the radio? Has anyone checked?

In the center console there is a usb port for an Ipod.I think your car has to have the RS package.
