Got tired of waiting for IOM cover. Going to get my stock one painted this winter. I have a freind of a freind who is a Top notch painter and Air Brusher. Probably have the CGM stripes removed and painted on. as well as air brush the gills. What's neat is he thinks the Maro is so cool that he is doing it for the cost of the materials plus a few beers.

As well my understanding is RJT and IOM covers are impossible to get.

I ordered our Rally Yellow cover last Friday the 4th from Gene Cully at gm partshouse.com and he assured me it would only take him three business days to receive it and then he would have it on the way to me the next day. Also only cost $216.55 from him with about $20 for shipping to Texas.

waited for 2 months till i canceled the order last week. Going to get it painted from a local body shop instead.

Make sure and let us know if you get it that quick. Maybe I'll have to order from them.

Have them contact the Chicago warehouse. That's where mine came from, as well as a couple of other painted covers for my dealer.

I ordered my car last week. Two days later we (the salesman and I ) deleted the engine cover from the order because its not available at this time and I didn't want it to hold the car up. I will have the cover painted when I take the car to the body shop for painted rally stripes.

Actually, because of my line of work, I immediately thought of "Personal Protection Equipment". That's a daily term when working with high voltage.
