I would say go look at the ATS times for a RWD only car as the benchmark. The 8 speed auto will make a bit of a difference, but not sure it gets us a 4.9 second car.
That being said, my Audi S4 (333 HP but also 330 lb ft of torque and AWD) was a 4.9 second car and it weighed more than the Camaro will. But the torque and AWD made that car awesome to drive. I think the new V6 will still be way down on torque compared to the 3.0 SC Audi.

The peak torque RPMs mean very little when you've got a big flat plateau spanning a few thousand revs. The current LFX makes within 90% of its peak torque from around 2200 rpm through to 6800. I'm sure the new LGX will be more of the same, and probably slightly flatter and/or wider.

Yes, Al O. said that the T4 would be well below 6 seconds to 60, and that our friends in Dearborn are going to be very surprised.

Well, it looks like I was overly pessimistic on the 0-60 times and optimistic on the lateral Gs. My hats off to GM, they definitely delivered more than I expected.

I was a bit optimistic on the 1/4th mile time and pessimistic on the 0-60, but I nailed the lateral Gs . How did everyone else do?

Compared to the MT numbers, mine were pretty much spot on as well: My prediction from earlier: I think V6: 0 - 60: 5.3 - 5.5 (hopefully low side of that) 1/4 mile: 13.4 - 13.7 But their 1/4 mile time was 13.8. Based on that MPH, I really feel there is another couple tenths for sure in that 1/4 mile time. It sucks that we likely won't see very many V6 owners take their completely stock V6 to the 1/4 mile track very often, so there won't be many chances to beat that time. But I think a mid 13 is doable stock.
