2017 ZL1 150 whp & 208 tq gain from simple mods.

A customer brought us his Brand New 2017 ZL1 a few weeks to do a set of Kooks 2" Headers, Our Custom Cam package and 9.1 Lower Pulley on. Having worked on plenty of ZL1's and Lt4's we knew this combo worked well, but the final numbers had us all surprised.

Keep in mind this car had a Roto-Fab intake & Meisterschaft Axle Back Exhaust already installed when we baselined it.

100% Pump gas, and No Meth.

It's Meistershaft. They show it in previous episodes more and it sounds AWESOME. It was custom built for the customer just like most of their setups for cars like these. I'm sure it cost a very pretty penny.

I know, every time I go to the shop, I'm freaking adding more shit to my car. When I bought it, I said, nope. Staying stock. Now, I'm $20k in with wheels and I still have another $10k to go to get another 100 hp. I have to stop. Please, help. Someone.

not really man. an intake pulley and headers puts you around 650 to the wheels! not a lot of cars do that dollar per HP.

Agreed. A good $15k can put you at 800 hp. If not more if done right.

Ok I need those wheels. Different color but the make, model, size etc. I’ll be doing research on them and see what I can find but if anyone has any info let me know.

Also, anyone know what spoiler is on the car?

So the wheels are Ferrada F8 FR8 in Matte Bronze. Unsure of sizing or offset but I have a message into the owner. The spoiler is by ACS Composites.

Intake, headers, cam, and lower pulley = greater than 200 whp compared to stock. Is this typical?!? I see guys on here with similar packages (maybe minus the cam ) and their numbers are not this high. Genuinely asking out of curiosity.
