Good point I wasn't paying attention to the base of the tubes and construction. So maybe they stuck with manifolds on the Vette because of the lower position of the chassis.

I think the "trailing arm" picture looks like a micro suede steering wheel with a outter graphic inlay to alter the "stiched" look.

Meh, just my $0.02

Would anyone be disappointed if the LT1 actually made more power in the Camaro?

I imagine quite a few Corvette owners would be. Has it actually happened before? Not in the last few gens I know.

Not suggesting it would out perform the Corvette, just that it might have a higher "number".

Agreed but has the Camaro ever had its standard V8 with more rated power than the standard V8 in the Corvette?

Not that I know of. The only way I see them letting that happen is if the Stingray has a power boost waiting that nobody knows about.
