no way a V6 is going to fly for a SS, however with the new CAFE restrictions for 2016 (http://www.autoblog.com/2010/04/01/n...1-mpg-by-2016/), they might have no choice.

Bah. After that last Camaro/Challenger/Mustang comparison, my respect for Motor Trend went down the cr@pper...

Id rock a v6 turbo Camaro. Did any of you guys ever hear a cammed GN before? As long as its a bigger displacement v6 it will still sound badass, especially when you hear it spool up. You have to adapt to survive, remember people hated messing with fuel injection when it first came out too.

hey a turbo v-6 in an RS model, cool, in an SS no way. Just as bad as the hybrid corvette. How un cool is it to roll in silence to a stop light.

We didn't know this much about the Camaro in 2005. It is downright impossible for this information to be based on facts 5 years out.

If they put the camaro on alpha and they don't get rid of zeta, I want to see a chevelle based off the one in the early 70's.

I know it most likely won't happen, but if it looks close enough to a '69 or '70 it will win over the people that like the retro styling

It has to be a V8! Putting in anything else would be a abomination! Plus, I don't want to have to change my name to American V6..........

Glad I got my 2010 Camaro, I don't like the sounds of the new generation Camaro when it comes out. Bye bye pushrod V-8. Hello turbo 4 and 6 cylinders
