Padded interior door panel piece
I have a 2022 LT1, and i’m interested in replacing hard plastic interior door insert pieces at the top of the door by the window with the padded ones that come on the higher trims. I’m talking about where you would rest your elbow if you have the windows down. I only see the knee pads on the Chevrolet accessory site. Are these something available to purchase, and has anyone done this?

Alas, those are part of the interior door panel, that's the reason you can't get them separately as part of various knee pads packages.

Those pieces are plastic-welded to the door card, they don’t pop out like the knee pads.
Several years ago I bought door cards from a wrecked ZL1 and put them in my SS 1LE. I had to use my original window and mirror controls for it to work. My left elbow has been thanking me since. |

Those are part of the door panel, your best bet would be to get a set of door panels from a 2SS on eBay and swap them over. I would imagine they’re plastic riveted to the door panel, however they’re easy to drill out usually and you just have to find short screws to put into their place. That’s just thinking of how GM does things like that not by experience.

The video linked below shows in detail how to install leather panels in the Camaro doors. It's quite involved. I haven't had any luck finding pre-cut panels on the http://www.leatherseats.com website though, so you'd either need to make them yourself, or have an upholstery shop do it for you.
