TRY this simple and cheap fix:
Grab some header insulation tape and cover the clutch line from the reservoir to the slave. The issue is heat the fluid in the system is close to boiling (under extreme conditions ie track or race days), this creates microscopic bubbles and "softens" the pedals. The insulation will prevent this from happening in most cases.

No need to do that i have this installed http://www.tickperformance.com/tick-...014-camaro-ss/
But mine is happening in town during normal operating temperatures, no high temps involved. I went to the dealer today as their engineer wanted them to try something. The engineer is well aware of Balues issues and now that they have come up with a vented cap they wanted me to get my pedal to stick and then remove the reservoir cap and see if the pedal returned, it didn't. My issues are a little different then Balue's

My issue was mostly on hill climbs, the constant over torque from the incline. I got to the point I can induce the fade at will. Lol.

My personal opinion is that remote reservoir is too small and will just concentrate the clutch dust that builds up in the system. I assume you have to bleed it often?

+1; I've been saying that since they came out with these conversion kits. The description of this conversion kit at that link, therefore, is very misleading in my opinion.

If you'll split the reservoirs, find something huge.

Ok so this has finally come to an end. Just got my baby back and all is well. I had Steve's Monster clutch installed Steve.
I cant get on her yet as i have a 500 mile city driving break in to accomplish 1st, but i was able to do what used to make the pedal stick and no more. I had my dealer install the clutch, and my service manager kept saying what a bitchen clutch this is, he asked if they had them for older cars. I said i didn't know but go to Monsterclutch.com and you can find out. This is just in the nick of time as COTA is just around the corner.

Awesome to hear that everything is together and back on the road! Can't wait to hear how you like the performance once you get it on the track!!

Keep us posted.

Great glad to hear it Mark! But it kinda sucks to hear GM could not resolve it for you without you having to pony up to buy a new clutch. But alas I'd do it too if it happened to me. I want to know the gory and technical details!! Double or triple disk? How much TQ/HP is it rated for? Pedal feel so far?? What are the differences between their race and street and which did you get?

I love this: WILL RACING MY CAR VOID MY CLUTCH WARRANTY? No, that would completely negate calling these performance clutches... as long as the unit was recommended by us, fits the power that you're making, and isn't being used in a plainly ignorant manner, we'll cover it.

I would love to see someone who knows these transmissions well to put together a thread or list (even better a kit I can buy) of all the improvements to be made when the transmission is out of the car for a clutch. Example this billet sleeve, the tick bleeder hose, a larger/separate resivoir for the clutch fluid there is a rear bearing that can get added and something else. I think...

Kind of since we have this transmission out let's make a great thing better scenario.

Anyone have any ideas?
