Question What vehicle did you consider before purchasing your Camaro?

Since i never thought i'd be able to afford a Camaro at my age, i was considering a Charger or a 12' KIA Optima! LOL

But a few weeks ago said SCREW IT!
I always dreamed of a Camaro, so went to a Chevy Dealer and walked out a Very happy guy!!!

Did any of you guys consider buying any other cars totally different then what you have now?

Nothing, if I could not have purchased a Camaro Convertible I was perfectly happy with my 1995 Cadillac Fleetwood with 140,000 miles I was ready to go for 200,000 miles.

(added info) I already have a CTSV so it was going to replace my daily driver or not happen.

Mustang convertible...but the Ford dealer was REALLY proud of those Mustangs, and tried the old rip your lips routine. I decided not to deprive him of the opportunity to continue to look at it on his lot. Funny, a couple months later he offered to "make me a deal" Too late.. already had the Camaro.

If it wasn't going to be the new Camaro then I was going to look at an older vette. Still plan on purchasing one if three years.

I looked at the dodge challenger SRT-8, which didn't offer that much as far as interior, it was a much pricier car and much bigger. The handling wasn't there either. I considered the mustang 5.0 also. But decided on the Camaro. Love the LS motors and the potential they have.

350Z Nismo, new 5.0 Mustang, a decently priced 03-04 Cobra or Mach 1 coupe, and 05-06 GTOs. Best price was the Camaro...plus I really like the styling. Not to mention it was the only one in the bunch I could afford to buy brand new with a warranty.

I test drove the challenger, 370Z, WRX STI, and a hyundai genesis. But I had already made up my mind that the Camaro was the one.

Other then dreaming of a Lamborghini every day the Camaro was the first car I had seriously considered buying and had said from the day I knew it was going into production that it would be mine, never even looked at any others, didn't even test drive it either, sat in it once at the dealer then went on the hunt for the best deal I could find.
