The last 2 shots might be the grill, or a front 3/4 shot.
And then a profile shot.

early on the forum has known this is the grill - my question is, what is so special about it, or will they talk about broader aerodynamics, will it be an active grill, etc.?

Its probably not really the grill that's going to be the focus of the picture once its revealed. more just the front of the car.

I'd be willing to bet it'll have active grille shutters. GM is obsessed with these things lately.

What's the benefit of active shutters vs just designing for maximum airflow possible? (ex: Z/28 "flowtie")

Active shutters limit drag when you don't need the extra air flow for cooling. That's typically how I've seen them used.

Perhaps they'll comment on the aerodynamic features of the car including cooling through the grill, engine compartment cooling and heat extraction, and possibly brake cooling ala the features on the current ZL1.

Wonder if they will have an ECO mode on the SS that will activate AFM and grille Shutters.
