My winter storage experience

All the questions about tires, the cold and storage. I am in Michigan, we had an incredibly extended cold winter and I stored my 1le covered in an unheated garage. Had the oil changed right before putting it up and that was it.

1. No tire damage whatsoever. I was told by one engineer I know who developed the 1le traction and stability controls that the tires only sustain damage when rolled at 20 degrees or less. My experience is consistent with his statement. They did not lose a single pound of air either.

2. Car started right up.

3. Permanent grin on my face today!

that's great ,how long was it in storage , hope mine starts up as well 4 more weeks to go

That's good to hear, mines been in storage since November in my non - heated garage. I bought a battery tender for it but never hooked it up because I'm too lazy. Never started her up, but this should be the week to do so.

I'm only home on Sundays and Mondays... I was going to drive the car today and tomorrow. When I was driving home (in work truck) it was snowing the whole time and was like #%#@%!!!!!

Stupid weather guys can't get anything right.
