Yeah Adam, it shouldn't be much of an issue...after it they dry it out. Hopefully that is not a common problem with that model.

I had an 2008 extended cab Colorado and the 3rd brake light leaked horribly. Never did get it to stop. When I sold the truck...it had water in the light.

Although now that I think about, being able to shower on the way into work might mean I wouldn’t have to get up as early.

Seats, carpet, dash fine. Waiting to hear back about the wiring and headliner. Won’t know till tomorrow most likely.

That’s what the dealer and I both think is the issue and the fix. Waiting to hear back. Really hope don’t need new headliner. If so will have to pull the windshield.

I hope it’s as easy as I think. Only reason it’s there is just barely under GM CPO extended warranty still.

I didn’t see anything on GMTrucks forums about it. But the early 14 builds have all kinds of issues. And I’ve had them all. All been covered though or a recall.

Yeah I remember those having that issue. Buddy of mine bought a case of lights/gaskets and kept swapping them out.

In other news. Loaner is a 2018 Malibu. Not a truck. Not a Camaro. But it’s same color as our car and GM. So that will do.

Got my truck back earlier today. All better. Headliner cleaned. No damage to wires or anything. And fin replaced.
