A10 ZL1 trans “lurch” on cold start?

Car is a 2018 A10 with <2,000 miles on it.

Has anyone else experienced this? I either didn’t notice it for the first 500 miles or it just started happening around then. But, when cold starting only, fire the car up and after about 1-2 seconds after engine starts, the car bucks or lurches a little but. I’m not talking vehicle rolling forward, but a slight buck like the driveshaft is rotating to a hard stop. Very had to describe but I’m hopeful someone’s else has experienced this or knows what I mean? Any thoughts on this? Car is level when parked.

TIA!

Yes this is normal. Weird thing is my 2017 ZL1 did not do it at all. The 18 started doing it after the transmission was replaced. My car has the most up to date Firm-ware and transmission for a 18 model. Other ZL1 owners have experienced the shake during cold starts and warm starts.

Never have felt it.

Do you use your emergency brake?

Never seen it on my car on start up while in park. It will move slightly after parking and shutting it off (residual pressure in TQ).

Mine's done this since day one on each cold start up. When it's warm, it doesn't. I have almost 3000 miles and I'm not worried...

Makes it feel like everything is spooling up ready for launch, lol.

Thanks for the replies guys. Guess I will chalk it up as an odd A10 quirk though I’d really like to know what the cause is...

Normal
Mine did that almost since day one
I think there is few words on it somewhere here...
Read something about :
Let the rest fluid come back in the system
Or let the pressure build in the trans
Something about the fluid resting in the cooling line which has to come back to engage
...
Not sure and don’t Remember but something like that which make sense
