Coolant pump question

What is the difference between these two upgraded coolant pumps

http://www.shop.coolerlogic.com/ZL1-...de-ZL1PUMP.htm

http://www.shop.coolerlogic.com/High...-pump-Pump.htm

Both flow 20 gpm. Would the zr1 pump not bolt straight on without modification? Trying to save a few bucks.

Please and thank you!

I imagine they are the same pump, but the more expensive one is a plug and play with the correct fittings and wiring plugs. You will have to do some fabrication on the cheaper one.

And mounting plate going by the photos.

To get the mounting plate that bolts right in, the fittings, and the plug on the wiring that'll plug right into the ZL1 harness is worth the additional $75 if you ask me.

I have the $425 pump. Comes with everything you need.
The only downside is, it is a bit noisy.

I just ordered one myself. Do you notice the increased noise within the cabin? I figured it would be a little more noticeable since its doing 5x the work, but I don't want it to be obvious that I have it when in the car. How much louder is it would you say?

You can definitely hear it at idle inside the cabin. But once you start moving you don't hear it. I kind of like hearing it, knowing that it's on. A few times with the stock pump I made a run then realized the pump was not on. IAT2's of 150+.
