Done! 2 front rotors, $799.00

SS 1LE front rotors are two-piece, huge, and directional.

But Rock auto had both + tax + Shipping - 5% coupon = $799.00

Hope this helps someone!

Ouch!!!! Somewhere had them like 245 or 270 a piece at one point. Need to find that place......

Edit: Not cheap remotely anywhere anymore. Found 778$ on ebay for a pair. I have 60 miles on my car so I have a while at least.

While I knew that Rockauto was a good source for pads and rotors, I was not aware that these are directional. I installed ZL1 brakes on my SS a good while ago. Statistically, there's a 50-50 chance that I installed the rotors on the proper side, however, with my luck I'll bet they're swapped.
Does anyone happen to know if the rears are directional also?

OEM ZL1 front rotors are not directional like the SS1LE rotors. The rears are non-directional also.

That's interesting and a bit surprising. I wonder if ZLE rotors are non-directional also? I was under the impression that ZLE and std ZL1 brakes are identical except for caliper color

Correct only difference for ZLE is caliper color

I'll assume the stock pads on the 1LE are semi-metallic, which I hated on my 2SS. Horrible rotor wear so I switched to ceramic pads. For my needs the slight performance hit was a non-issue.

I have to replace mine too, i'm at 40k on my 1le, but 0 track days. Plenty of pad left but I know it's time.

I looked today on rock auto best price was 787 shipped with 5% discount code. Anyone know of any better price? Probably going to order some this month.
