Toyyo R888R front Wheels, HELP NEEDED
so basically i searched and couldn't find the 285/30ZR20 tires here in my country, all they have is the 285/35ZR20, and im only contemplating if that would fit and face no issues when aligned to the track specs, i am going to use these tires for the track and will be mounting them on the OEM wheels, yes i am getting the 315/30ZR20 for the rear and will have a 5mm spacer for it, i also have another pair of 5mm spacer for the front just incase, my only concern is will it fit, and under full steer will it rub against anything? thanks in advance for the replies.

285/35-20 will fit but are a bit taller than the 285/30-20. If the height difference between the front and rear is too much, the traction control/ABS will not like it. Check the height of the tires you are considering and make sure they are within a few percent. If you run a 35 aspect ratio tire in the rear, it will work but it will throw off the speedo just a little.

Alright , so i confirmed this issue, the Toyo R888R 285/35/20 will NOT fit the 2017 ZL1 with mag ride, the tire was rubbing on the spring lower plate on the damper, and also it was rubbing the liner when you hit full steering lock.

Is your car lowered? There’s several people running this size with no issues on here...

Oh, forgot to mention that I didn’t run them with stock wheels but they do fit on my car with the cheapo wheels I use. They are +30 offset and a 5 mm spacer.

it only matters if there is a difference between the front and rear. The car has no idea you placed a shorter or taller tire. The sensors need to see the rotations vary between front and rear. I don’t know the exact threshold.
