Z reveal speculation
Ok, so we've seen the spy shots a couple weeks ago, lets get some speculation going on the reveal for the next Z variant.
I hope for Detroit in January.

Remember when we all thought the 6th gen would be shown in Detroit? Then it didn't happen & figured it would be Chicago? Then it didn't happen & we figured it would be New York? Then it didn't happen & we were surprised to see that it would be a special event put on by GM themselves, at a time & place of their choosing? Then before we could really even get into speculating on when/where the convertible would be show, GM just goes and does it.
Point being ... GM seems to enjoy throwing curveballs with the 6th gen. I'm hesitant to make any predictions right now.

I have a feeling they will not reveal the Z until after the launch of theach coupes and convertibles. They need a constant flow of news beats to keep Dodge and Ford at bay.

If the Z** is a 2017 model, I would expect it to be an early 2016 reveal.

I don't think it will be as early as the Detroit show. I'm thinking more like spring time or so. I hope I'm wrong. I'm sure we will get more spy shots of it before then, because this is the model I am waiting for to buy if it does in fact get the LT4.

I just want to see a 6th Gen in any trim in the flesh.
I'm not even thinking of a Z anything at the moment |

Indeed. Something tells me the Z variant is going to look tough.
