Cadillac ATS with LS3/TR6060

Given the similarities between the '16 Camaro and Cadillac ATS, has anyone thought about swapping a LS3/TR6060 into an ATS to have a "4 door camaro"

It seems like a lot of parts for the swap might be readily available once the 6th gen comes out. I wish GM/Chevy would build something like this!

Thoughts?

Good point, but I think the current Chevy SS it would be ~200lb heavier than an ATS/alpha based sedan.

And the SS is worth all 200 of those extra pounds. Huge car in the inside.

Curb weight is 3,975. ATS-V 3,700.

Has it been confirmed the SS is going away? Did not think it will be around after this year.

I've heard they're stopping production as well.

That kind of weight reduction and the awesome reviews of the ATS chassis are what makes me want to do the swap!!

I can't afford it and prefer the LT1 (or LS3/480) over it! Otherwise the ATS-V is perfect.

youll spend more retrofitting the LS in to the car than a 'V would cost
