So I didn't think it was that hot today, well it was 97 degrees and I went to close my trunk and my bowtie came off. Anyone else have this happen to them?

not by nature and it gets hot here in florida.

its not a bad thing, mine already came off the front BY FORCE!

your trunk was probably repainted. or atleast the bowtie was taken off. dealers fix cars all the time before the owner ever sees the car. a guy i know was telling me that he special ordered a mini cooper and was smashed on the boat. he had to wait an extra 2 months to get the car, no discount or anything. not on the carfax either

Ive replaced my rear bowtie twice with no issues. Sounds like you need more 3M tape

it gets up to 115F+ here in Vegas, and it's hit 110F three times so far this year, and no issues yet. *knock on wood*

It took a lot of sawing with fishing line to get mine off, you got lucky.

That explains the blended paint job and clear coated emblem on my fender i didn't see until the first detail job i gave it after the sale.
