On Star don't understand!

Here in Canada we are once again being ripped off by GM.The same plan here is $39.90/month..... thanks but NO THANKS....

I let my onstar lapse and during the trial period did not use it once.

In fact, when I picked up my vert after purchase, the dealership asked if I wanted an onstar demonstration...I told them no thanks...
When I purchased my Camaro, I got On Star for one year free, they took a credit card number.I put my car in storage for the winter,so for 6mo.I couldn't use the On Star and I wanted to know if I could get it 6mo.at a time.Nobody understood what I was trying to do until I cancelled my credit card. $ 57.80 is too much for 6months.

We took the reciever out of my son's Monte Carlo, damn thing interfered with the new head unit.

I have not use mine in the Carmaro, I see no need with my iPhone and the UConnect package my car has.

This. I've never used Onstar before in my life...or even set it up for the free trial.

You sir have just saved me a ton of money. I have to cancel or it will auto-renew by tomorrow so I was checking on what people were paying.

I LOVE the mobile app use for directions, NEVER use the functionality to actually talk to someone to do this so I could care less.

I'm just going to keep Safe and Sound and continue to use the App in my Galaxy Tab!

Sa-weeeet!

I have onstar and it is only 18.95 a month. I keep it for the insurance discount as it documents my low mileage which saves me 50% on my coverage.

I wouldn't pay for something if i didn't use it. Use the money for mods.

There is a new update on the Android Play Store RemoteLink App. From the language in the update and an email I received from OnStar they may be taking away this capability to those without Directions and Connections with the update. I do not want to update if so, but it also mentions it may stop functioning on July 31.

Anyone else receive this info or update?

True. Mine no longer works without subscribing to Directions and Connections Package. Bummer.

Call your insurance. I recieved a $20ish monthly discount for having on star. In this case it makes On Star free.
