This is what gets your car effed up!!
I know it's a topic discussed over and over again.. But I will never understand this behavior.. All it does is bring unwanted attention to your car. There is nothing wrong with taking pride in your car and wanting to take care of it.. But this sends out the wrong message..and it's in an high volume area where there aren't many spaces up front..
This is how I park my car.. Way in the back, not taking up two spaces.. I find an end and park as close to the curb as possible so if someone parks next to me I still have room!! |

Yup, end spaces are your friend. I do the same thing. Never take up two spots, definitely asking for trouble there.

So just because its less expensive. You guys can judge. I see its love of car, and fear of dings. Who cares if you agree or not. What makes what "you do" correct and this not. What if its based on effort and commitment not your perception. Not all purchases mimic yours. I would expect better from car guys.

When I see people park like this I make it a point to park right next to them. If I'm in my Terminator I park at a distance like there were space lines. However, if I'm in my Ranger I park as close as possible to their driver's door and exit my vehicle via the passenger door. You know...for the lulz (as the kids say these days).

That picture brings back fun memories of the old, rusted out Ford Taurus my dad had as a winter beater when I was in high school. It had a front bench seat, so you could park the old crate within about 6 inches of something like that, and easily slide out through the passenger side.

I'm assuming the ZL1 and upcoming Z/28 guys would disagree on that point.

The guy parked like an a-hole but what engine's under the hood has nothing to do with this.
