throttle controller

can you you guys please help me out real quick lol

I'm trying to install the vitnesse throttle controller but I CAN NOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME get through step number one!!

- Unplug the Harness on top of your Gas Pedal (First you will need to push up the securing gray pin, after that while squeezing in the middle of the harness, pull the harness upward by holding the plastic connection, not from the wires !

anyone have like a step by step pictures?? It's so frustrating

I must have gotten lucky on my install because I just had to use a small screwdriver on the clip and the plug came right out... Then it was just a matter of plugging in the new harness, what ever you do, don't force it!!! Just take your time and keep trying to work it loose in front and back, then it should just pop right out, good luck!!!

Don't force anything, and don't break it it will come off, mine was a PITA, but it knew better. You break that connector you'll be walking....

How much faster does this throttle controller make the car? I did a search and it seems it reduces the 0-60 times by a few tenths on the V6 models. Is this true?

I would think its only reducing the time due to wheel spin. With the VTC you're not gaining any horse power you're just getting more throttle sooner. Example: if the factory setting is giving you 10% at 1\4 throttle the VTC depending on what setting you use will give you 30% at 1\4 throttle.
