It's been hard to find SS's here in Baton Rouge. There's a bunch of LT's.

Yep. By spring of this year there should be the full spectum of 2016 Camaros on dealership lots (T4, V6, V8) in full numbers.

That would be the time to compare sales numbers to the main competitor in Dearborn.

How can the Corvette not make that list? Crazy people are paying more for used ones than you can buy a new one for from the forum dealers.

My local dealer had I think 6 camaros when i went in early December. 6!.. Ranging from models and features.. Thankfully he didn't have the colors I wanted. But I love them not selling well... Makes ours more unique ! lol.

But also, I think it's just the right car to the right buyer.. The car in the lot might be a good seller somewhere, and not in your area.. I'm hoping to really get a banging deal come time for me to purchase..

The nearest dealer has a Nightfall Grey non-RS 1LT that's been on the lot for a month. I did see that more recently they got a Garnet RS LT that's already gone and a Garnet 2SS. I don't expect the SS to stick around long, but I don't think that 1LT is going anywhere anytime soon. I think the non-RS cars are going to be slow to move, personally.

My local dealer has had a 2SS for a month now. I think it is around $46,000. Plus some V6s that are not selling either. One dealer about an hour from me is doing a straight up $2000 to $3000 off with no incentives or rebates needed. That is better than my supplier discount. Glad I didn't preorder, nobody would budge from MSRP. Anyway, I think I will wait to see what 2017 brings.

True, it may be a better car than the competion but sometimes the price is enough to make you look else where. The idea of waiting a year seem more and more appealing

I have also noticed the prices on the 2015's sitting around aren't getting reduced either! The 20% cash back in November had some great deals but no More!!!!!!!

Yep, with the current pricing you really have to want a Camaro. I really wish they would have priced the 1SS at $35k and 2SS at $40k. Once you get over $40k for a Camaro the cross shopping begins. Slightly used Stingrays for less than $50k, which will not depreciate nearly as fast, luxury sports sedans/coupes with attractive lease offers, etc.

A dealer near me had a $40k 2LT. I grew up with V8 Camaros and Trans-Ams so it is hard for me to even fathom a $40k v6 Camaro. I know it is better, blah, blah but a Camaro to me is about the V8 experience, otherwise if I want a V6 I can get a nice Lexus or Nissan, etc.

Yea it blew my mind to see a 2LT for $39,500 at the dealer today, my loaded 2010 2SS was $35,500

I wouldn't buy an Camaro SS at top Dollar that has been sitting at a Dealer and being used for a test drive vehicle ether, I'm sure plenty of ppl have stopped by test drove that Camaro and then ether placed an order for their own or found a less "Tested" SS to purchase. It doesn't seem like this would be any kind of indication of the "Quality of the Market" for the Camaro, and then you consider the time of year like others have stated, sounds like a fairly bias way to look at the way sales are going.
