Tremec TUET11012 Swap?

So I was watching Doug Demuro's video on the IS300 wagon and he mentioned how those cars are swapped, decided to do a curiosity Google search and found out the T6060 (T56) is a popular swap for these, but I also noticed something curious, there's a T56 with lower gear ratios for 1st, 2nd and 3rd, decided to input the numbers in a calc and this are the speeds I got at 6500 rpm.

1st: 2.97 @ 48 mph (vs 2.66 @ 54 mph)
2nd: 2.10 @ 68 mph (vs 1.78 @ 80 mph)
3rd: 1.46 @ 98 mph (vs 1.3 @ 110 mph)
4th: 1.00 @ 143 for both

One of my pet peeves with the Camaro is that the gears are too loooooong and it would this swap would make it more fun for spirited/track driving seeing you're changing gears more often at the cost of cruising comfort and city MPG (but who cares?).

So I'm just posting this to get opinions/thoughts, wondering if all the features like no lift shift and rev-matching would still work.

As someone who owned a stupid geared IS300 that would buz 4K rpms at 80mph.. no thanks!

Change the rear end... easier path. Even easier... shorter tire.

Don't think there's any any options for the e-diff, plus 4th, 5th and 6th and the same ratios so it would have the same issue.

Magnum version of tremec is essentially beefier version of TR6060 and that can be ordered w custom gear ratios (or at least some of them).

https://www.txdrivetrain.com/product.../tr6060-gears/

Sounds like easy way to spend $10-15K

Not sure where are you getting that hilariously big figure from when you can get a TUET11012 for $3500, and the site you listed has the same gears available to all T52's, those are the replacement parts so no "custom" gears.

well.. by the time you drop the trans, crack open the gear case, swap in however stock parts they are.. you're few $K in labor and parts. And if you have to ship it in either directions.

I guess cheaper than I expected but its for T56.. not the TR6060 family.

AFAIK it's not the same-same.
