NPP burble: any long-term harm?

I just got my 2023 SS 1LE. It's got the NPP, so I have been enjoying the piss out of it.
The late year Gen 6 SSs seem to have a mild burble tune from the factory when I lift and coast above 3k RPM.
While it sounds nice, there are stories online of Bimmer and VW guys running burble tunes and ruining their cats and exhausts. Does our car have such a risk of long-term harm?

I had a 2017SS and now a 22SS that both had/have the burble due to the factory tune and should not affect the engine. I personally hate that burble and installed a catback exhaust which has helped eliminate some of that sound.

If your car is 100% stock I wouldn’t worry about it. Enjoy the burble.

If by burble you mean crackles and pops...I hate them. Mine is a 17SS stick with dual mode exhaust. Almost 63k miles on it now and luckily I can say over time the exhaust gets much less crackles and pops. My exhaust sounds better now than when new.

No long term harm if your car is stock and the exhaust notes came that way. If you plan on modding the car down the road, it may get progressively worse but can be tuned out (most of it) through HP Tuners.

Personally I love the burble, only issue it causes that I know about is empty wallet syndrom from driving around enjoying the sound of it over and over and over...

Pretty sure the GM engineers wouldn't add a burble tune that would harm the car in the long run. Love the burbles more than I thought it would except when next to a cop lol.

I love the burbles especially after I get passed by Hyundai and we both get caught by a traffic light.

Tuned them out… Sounded like a poorly tuned rattle can. IMO

best way to avoid damage to the cats is by replacing them with kooks catless headers !

also increases burble, its a win-win

Can't really do that in California, unfortunately.
