I agree, total fail by Chevrolet not to offer Hugger Orange. I love that color. You nailed it!

I can't agree more. This falls into Chevrolet being marketing idiots. Hugger Orange is the most iconic color ever for Camaro.
Shit, they never made a retro Chevelle. They could have stolen a ton of sales from the Challengers on that alone.

Damn that’s an amazing looking car, nice work. GM should have made it for sure.

Great car.....but Inferno Orange Metallic in bright sun can't be beat imo. The black accents work better on hugger orange IOM tho.

This is what we did, because the IOM wasn't bright enough. We went with OBM another GM color (Orange Blast Metallic).

Well guys, all good things must come to an end. It was time for a change and the wrap was at the end of it’s life span. This time around I went with satin black. Completely fell in love with the car all over again.

That satin black looks great.

For people like me who are unfamiliar with wrap, can you tell us what to look for when selecting a shop? How much disassembly is required? Where does the wrap stop, as in, what do the door sills and hoods look like inside? What is required to prep the surface, as in, dings and paint chips?

My car is a 2010 and I'm wondering if wrap would be right for me. And yes, changing from summit white to orange is something I would consider.

Instagram or social media is your biggest tool to look for shops that do good work. Yelp or google reviews would work as well. All of your bumpers, mirrors, door handles need to be disassembled for proper wrap installation that should be standard. Wraps usually stop before the door sills, underneath the hoods remains factory color. All you have to do is give the car a good wash before wrap application. You can’t really avoid paint chips, or door dings but it’s better then harming your paint. You could always get the area re wrapped if something minor were to happen. Hope this helps!
