17 ZL1 what a car....

ZL1-MRR-M017 Nitto NT01's W/315's and 285's
Ok, I finally found time to add my MRR M017 in gloss black to my A10 ZL1. I chose to go with the Nitto NT01 in a 315x30x20 in the rear and a 285x35x20 in the front. The rear tires fit perfect with NO rubbing issues. However, the front was a different story, and did rub on the shock tower. I added a 3mm Spacer and no rubbing so far, I really hate the fact that I had to add it.... grrr As for the ride it feels about the same as the stock tires but there is a bit more road noise, not a lot but definitely noticeable. After a few minutes driving I completely forgot about it and I just focused on the sound of the engine. As for Traction, the Nitto NT01's stick big time. Hitting 3.3 seconds 0-60 is quite common and the tires and wheels are my only performance mods to date. My best 0-60 time on stock tires was 3.5 seconds. (on the street not the track) The slightly larger tires fill the fender-wells pretty good with out lifting the car to much. From the back the tires look super aggressive and give the car an amazing stance. The Rear tires measure about 12.3 inches from outside to inside. Now, I am trying to decide if I should lower the car? I really do not want to make the car a pain to drive and I know adding lowering springs sometimes leads driving issues. Also, a special thanks to Paul at PK Auto design for the wheels, tire setup and they were perfectly mounted and balanced.

I see that now.
Weird. Is ZL1 offset different? Why would it poke out like that? It is a standard 20x11 +43 offset. Unless the O.P added a spacer?

It does seem to fit a little different than normal, But the top of the wheel is dead flush with the fender when looking from the front. I used a ruler to make sure. No spacers on the rear at all and they are normal back spacing from MRR. Here is a pic from the drivers and passengers door looking back. Also, If you get really sticky tires, Rock guards are a must...

Yes, way more rocks. Every road I drive on, I can here them hitting the car. It is like four times worse than stock tires.... rock guards at zl1addons.com

I was only giving BC a hard time. Perhaps it has to do with the 315, it looks as if the sidewall is ballooned out a bit past the edge of the rim.

It look awesome!!! Congratulations.
If you don't mind me asking, did you install the entire setup yourself or you took to a commercial place to get it installed? If commercial, where? Main concern is the 3mm spacer. I am perfectly OK with using it I just can't install it or the wheels and tires for that matter. Thanks.
